Dublin is the both the capital and the largest city in Ireland. It sits at the mouth of the River Liffey on Ireland's east coast. The city has one of the fastest growing economies in the world. It also has the fastest growing population compared to other European cities.
There are a lot of great places to visit in Dublin. These include:
- St Patrick's Cathedral - located in St Patrick's Close, the cathedral is one of the most important religious structures in all of Ireland. It is named after Ireland's patron saint, St Patrick.
- The Old Jameson Distillery - One of the oldest and most famous structures in Ireland, the old distillery is where John Jameson made his first whiskey. Visitors to the distillery can enjoy relieving the history of the place as well as a sample drink of Jameson Whiskey.
- Temple Bar - This is considered as the center of Dublin's nightlife. Temple Bar is a central street, which is famed for its restaurants, shops, and pubs.
