This is not a problem anymore because most hotels offer free internet connection as part of the room package. Travelers can also get an internet connection by going to or spending time in places that offer free WiFi internet in exchange for their services or products such as cafes and bookstores. Another good area where people can get a good internet connection for free is in the airport but since travelers cannot spend their whole day in an airport, this particular tip is not always applicable. There are also websites that scan the individual's surrounding area for WiFi connections; however, this is not a surefire way to connect to the internet because speed might become a problem.
