Shopping is a part of most travel trips, especially recreational ones. Some people find the temptation of the seemingly low prices to hard to pass up. However, it is wise to practice restraint when travel shopping. Here are some tips on travel shopping:

How Cheap is Cheap? – Ask yourself this question each time you are tempted to buy something. Consider how much it would cost if you convert the price into USDs and if it is any cheaper than products sold back home
Reliable Stores – Shop from stores or areas where you are certain that you aren't given inflated prices. You can do this by shopping from malls that have fixed prices. It is also helpful if you haggle as much as you can.
