When packing for your Caribbean cruise, comfort and practicality should be your main consideration. Most cruises have at least one formal night so bring at least one formal wear. For men, it means a dark suit with tie. For women, a gown or cocktail dress will do.
For your every day clothing, slacks, polo shirts and shorts are excellent choices for men. For women, dresses, shorts, slacks, blouses and tanks are good choices. Don't bring too many bathing suits on board. Two is all you really need - one to wear while the other dries. Towels are furnished poolside and for beach trips on port, but you might want to bring a couple of cover ups.
Bring a comfortable pair of footwear. Sandals are good, but you will also need formal footwear for the formal night. Remember, rough seas walking can be tough so make sure your shoes will endure. Also, bring at least one sweater. Although it is hot and humid in the Caribbean, the air conditioning aboard can make dining chilly.
Most importantly, don't forget to pack your travel and insurance documents, prescription and over the counter medicines that you might need, essential toiletries, and of course, your camera.
