
Asheville is a city located between the Great Smoky Mountains and the Blue Ridge Mountains in Western North Carolina, a state in the United States. Asheville is known for its pleasant weather that lasts for the entire year. It is considered the largest city in Western North Carolina and the night largest city in the North Carolina state.
Asheville is home to the luxurious Baltimore Estate which is the largest privately owned home in the country. The place attracts over one million tourists each year. The city also houses several outstanding architecture include the Art Deco city hall as well as other unique buildings that are mostly located in the downtown area of the city. Some of these buildings include the Neo-Gothic Jackson Building, the Battery Park Hotel, the Grove Arcade and the Basilica of St. Lawrence. There are also several churches in the city with notable architecture such as the Basilica of St. Lawrence, the Central United Methodist Church and the First Presbyterian Church.
