Bath is a city in England, United Kingdom; it belongs under the ceremonial county of Somerset. It was once a city, then, it became a county borough with administrative independence from Somerset. The city was founded among the only naturally occurring hot springs in the United Kingdom where the Romans created a temple and bath and named the place as Aquae Sulis. The city became a spa resort in the Georgian Era.

Aside from its many museums, theaters, schools, colleges, universities, Bath also has several sporting and cultural venue which gathers tourism revenues all year round. The city was once the center of fashionable life during the 18th century. Thus, it is home to several theaters and is home to several annual festivals.

Bath is known for its numerous parks including the Royal Victoria Park which is considered as the main park. It was named, and was formally opened, by then Princess Victoria. Because tourism is one of the main industries in the city, aside from the attractions, the city also has more than 300 buildings dedicated for accommodation alone.
