Belfast is the capital city of the United Kingdom's Northern Ireland. Although its name is often mistaken for "mouth of the Farset (river)", the name really means "mouth of the sandbank". The city started out as the center of trade and production including ropes, linen and tobacco. The city's main shipbuilders were the ones who created the RMS Titanic. These days, the city is still a business hub with various industries all over the city.

Belfast is the United Kingdom's legal center. It is considered as the island of Ireland's second largest city and the economic engine in the constituent country. Aside from the two airports that serve the city, industrial and commercial docks also comprise the ports of the city, making it a major seaport.

Attractions in Belfast include the architecture of the city which ranges from Edwardian to Victorian to modern styles. Belfast City Hall with the Big Wheel is also a major tourist attraction both in the evening and at daytime.
