About Benidorm
Benidorm, a Valencian coastal town in Alicante, Spain, was once a simple village. The village was transformed into a modern town with skyscrapers, hotel industry infrastructures, and developed beaches. Because of the unique skyline that the structures form, the town is dubbed as "Beniyork" and "Manhattan of Spain".

Aside from the modern structures, the town is back-dropped by the Puig Campana - one of the most impressive parts of the Costa Blanca mountains. This combination made the city a tourist resort and a popular holiday destination in Spain. Attractions in the area include theme parks Terra Mítica, Aqualandia, and Mundomar.

Tourism is highly advanced in Benidorm in a sense that some areas are dedicated to the foreign tourists that Valencian or Spanish could not be heard spoken in the whole section. One such example is the "11th Belgian Province" which contains several Flemish tourists and shops; the section is also comprised of skyscrapers that look like the Belgian Coast.
