Birmingham is considered to be on of Great Britain's largest cities with the largest population after the capital, London. The city has a rich history with it being the heart of the United Kingdom's industrial revolution where most of the city's wealth came from.
Birmingham houses several architectural wonders that the crowd and the shops sometimes obscure. Though the city does not offer many historical attractions, it does offer a variety of museums and art galleries that showcase the rich aesthetic industry of the city. Some of the notable art galleries in the area include the Aston hall, the Barber Institute of Fine Arts, the Cadbury World, the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, the IKON Gallery and the Sarehole Mill.
Birmingham also houses several green spaces and small parks all over the suburbs and the city. The countryside is merely thirty minutes away in any direction from Birmingham where tourists can get access to nature reserves and country parks where a wealth of information regarding the local fauna, flora and different conservation efforts can be found.
