About Bristol
Bristol is a city, ceremonial county and unitary authority area in South West England. It is one of the core cities of England and is its sixth most populous city. It is the largest center of industry/employment, culture, and education in the region. It has a total area of 110 km2 and a population of a little less than 500,000 (urban at 551,000). Most of its inhabitants are White British and the rest White, Asian, Black, mixed race, and other races.

Because Bristol is a unique city with many definitions, defining its borders requires specification of what is being measured. For instance, the Bristol Urban Area is the urban portion of the city while the Greater Bristol includes the urban portion and the former Avon area.

Attractions in Bristol include the Bristol Industrial Museum, Bristol City Museum and Art Gallery, the Llandoger Trow, Cabot Tower, Brandon Hill Park, the Floating Harbour, Bristol Zoo Gardens, Noah's Ark Zoo Farm, St. Mary Redcliffe Church, and Castle Park.
