About Buena Park
Buena Park is a city in the northwest part of Orange County in the state of California. The 2000 census revealed that the city has a population of 78,282. It is home to several tourist attractions including Knott's Berry Farm. The city was settled by the Spanish in late 18th century. It was transferred from Spanish authority to Mexican rule in 1822 and was subsequently incorporated into the United States when California was granted statehood in 1850. In the recent decades, Buena Park has been attracting people with mixed ethnicities such as African Americans and Asian Americans.

Aside from Knott's Berry Farm other points of interest in Buena Park include its sister Park the Knott's Soak City. The 'Ripley's Believe it or Not!' is also located in Buena Park together with the Medieval Times dinner show and the Pirate's Dinner Adventure Show. A history park is also located on Beach Blvd. The park showcases several preserved buildings which include the Bacon House and the Whitaker-Jaynes Hoyse. The latter also serves as the city's local history museum. Other buildings found in Buena Park include the Tice House and the Stage Stop Hotel.

The closest airport to the city is the Fullerton Municipal Airport. Buena Park itself is served by several freeways including the Riverside Freeway and the Santa Ana Freeway. A public bus service is provided by the Orange County Transportation Authority. Aside from Fullerton, the Long Beach Airport is also accessible from the city. A Metrolink Orange County Line Station also serves the city.
