Cape Canaveral, known as Cape Kennedy from the year 1963 to 1973, is a headland in Brevard County, Florida, United States. It is said to be one of the three oldest surviving European named places in the United States. It is a part of the famous region of Space Coast where many United States spacecrafts are launched and is the location of Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. Because of this, the Florida Public Service Commission assigned "321" as its telephone area code.
Tourism and space industries are the two most source of income of Cape Canaveral.
