Clearwater is a city in the Pinellas County, Florida, United States of America. It is the seat of the county and is considered as the smallest of the three principal cities in the Tampa Bay Area.

Clearwater has annual events that draw locals and tourists alike. Some of these events include the Fun N Sun Festival, the Imagine International Film Festival, the Clearwater Jazz Holiday, the Clearwater Celebrates America (on the 4th of July), the Hispanic Heritage Festival in October and the Foster Grant Ironman World Championship.

The arts and culture community of Clearwater is rich and thriving. The Clearwater Public Art and Design program is one of the programs that supports local arts and design professionals. It seeks to enhance the city for its locals and visitors and to contribute to an art legacy for future generations. Clearwater is also the home of the Bright House Field which is the spring training area of the World Series Champion for Major League Baseball - the Philadelphia Phillies.

Clearwater is also the home of the headquarters of the Church of Scientology.
