East Elmhurst is a city in New York City, USA. It is bounded by the Queens borough, Jackson Heights, Corona, and the Flushing Bay. Although most of the residents are moderate-income families, there are still areas where families have a low income. Because the city, along with Corona, was home to several notable African-American musicians as well as artists, the two were often referred to in tandem as Corona/East Elmhurst.
