About El Paso
El Paso is a county seat of El Paso County, the 6th largest city in Texas and the 22nd largest city in the entire United States. It is a Mexican-American community with a population of 606,913, according to the United States Census Bureau 2006. The city lies at the intersection of three states Texas, New Mexico, and Chihuahua and two countries the USA and Mexico. It has a land area of 249.08 square miles and the city's elevation is 3,800 feet above sea level.

El Paso is the home of the largest urban park in the United States, The Franklin Mountains State Park, a 24,000 acre attraction. The city is surrounded by the Chihuahuan Desert that is why it has an arid and warm climate, the city has very hot or mild summer and dry winters.

A unique escapade in the city is the two nation vacation; visitors can travel to Mexico within minutes.
