Fort Myers Beach is a town in Florida, USA. It is located on and is comprised of Estero Island and San Carlos, its "sister" island - both are barrier islands. It belongs to the Lee County of Florida and the Cape Coral-Fort Myers Metropolitan Statistical Area. The town has a total land area of 15.9 km2 with about 8.5 km2 of it is water.

The town is comprised of around 97% Whites and the rest belong to other ethnic groups. Also, more than half of the town's population are married couples without children. Only 7.2% of the residents are considered to be below poverty line while males have a higher median income than females.

The town takes pride in its Chapel by the Sea which was the very first church created on the island. St. Raphael Episcopal Church was built next then several churches followed suit. Most of the activities on the islands and the town involve water and beach.
