
Fort Worth found in North Texas is the 17th largest city in the United States and the 5th largest city within the state of Texas and serves as the country seat for Tarrant County. It covers an area of 300 square miles. It is not really a fort but a military camp established in 1849 by General William Jenkins Worth. The camp protects the settler from attacks of Native Americans.
Fort Worth is also known as Cowtown because of its proud display of its cowboy roots. Despite of this image, Fort Worth also has numerous celebrated art museums like the Amon Carter Museum and Kimbell Art Museum. There is also the Palace of Wax, Bass Performance Hall which is the home of Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, Fort Worth/Dallas Ballet, and Fort Worth Opera.
Fort Worth is said to have a bright future because of its numerous business opportunities and many attractions and its continuous development.
