Fredericton, "The City of Stately Elms" is the capital of New Brunswick, Canada. It is one of the main urban centers of New Brunswick located in the west-central part of the province along with Moncton and Saint John. The city has long tree lined streets, particularly elm trees in which it has earned its nickname.

Like other cities, there are also plenty of tourist attractions, cultural institutions and historical landmarks that can be found in the city. Some cultural buildings are: the Beaverbrook Art Gallery, the York-Sunbury Museum, and the Playhouse, a performing arts venue. Moreover, this place also contains several public parks that features preserved forestlands such as the O'dell Park, The Green, Kingswood Park, Wilmot Park, Killarney Lake Park, Queen Square Park, Officer's Square, Kings Landing Historical Settlement and the Mactaquac Provincial Park

Furthermore, the city hosts the annual Harvest Jazz & Blues Festival, which attracts local and international jazz and blues performers.
