Garden Grove is situated in northern Orange County, California, United States. It is 2 miles south Disneyland, 7 miles southeast Knott's Berry Farm, 9 miles east Pacific Ocean and 25 miles south Los Angeles.
Garden Grove is popular for its 3-stage theaters, namely the Garden Grove Playhouse, Gem Theater, and the Festival Amphitheater. It is also the home of Robert H. Schuller's Crystal Cathedral, a church mostly made of glass and designed by famous architect Philip Johnson and which religious broadcasts are made. Stanley Ranch Museum is also a "must visit" place, with its grounds being an area of its oldest homes and buildings. The city also has its annual strawberry festival.
Even though it is mainly residential, Garden Grove has also light industries. Plastic manufacture is an example. It is a strong and flourishing city with a dedication to family fun and recreation which lives up to its motto "The City of Youth and Ambiton".
