Jerusalem is the largest city in both area and population and is the capital of Israel. The city has a rich history and is considered as one of the oldest cities in the world. It is the spiritual center of the Jewish people and is the holiest city of the Judaism religion. The city is also the home of numerous ancient Christian sites and is considered by the Muslims as the third holiest city for its religion.
