About Kapa
Kapa'a is a census-designated place in Kauai County in Hawaii, United States. The town has a large concentration of shopping centers, hotels, and tourist-oriented restaurants and shops. Kapa'a also unfortunately has the worst traffic congestion on the island.

There are a variety of hotels and motels to choose from when visiting Kapa'a. These hotels are located at various places in the area and offers beachfronts, and other amenities. There are a variety of things to do and places to see in Kapa'a and in the nearby places on the islands of Kauai.

Some of these places of interests that are a few minutes away from Kapa'a include the Allerton Garden, the Bell Stone, the Alakai Wilderness Area, the Fern Grotto, the Hanalei Bay, the Kapa'a beaches, the Moir Gardens and the Sleeping Giant or the Nounou Mountain which is a mountain range that is located between Kapa'a and Wailua. It is called the sleeping giant due to its resemblance to a reclining human figure.

Downtown Kapa'a houses a variety of quaint and dainty shops and restaurants and is about two blocks long.
