Kelowna is located at the south city of British Columbia, Canada on the eastern shore of Okanagan Lake. Its name is the Indian word for "grizzly bear". The community was established in the late 1850s and covers a land area of 212.6 square kilometers. It is the largest city in the Okanagan Valley.
Tourists go to Kelowna to go swimming, fishing, ski, golf, and hike and for its different attractions. It has all the first rate services of fine dining, exceptional shops, and rich and vibrant culture. Kelowna's location is ideal, may it be a manufacturing, commercial, lumber and major fruit-growing and tourist center. Wood products, processed food, transportation and communication equipment and wine are the principal produce and source of the community's income. It also has plenty of vineyards and orchards.
