About Keystone
Keystone is located in Summit County, Colorado, United States. It is a census-designated place whose population as of the 2000 census totaled to 825. The prime tourist spot in Keystone is the Keystone Resort. Keystone is home to the closest major resort from the Denver Airport and is only a short drive away from other resorts in the area.

The Keystone Resort ski area is massive and occupies 3 separate mountains. The resort does not only hold winter outdoor activities but several summer outdoor activities as well. Winter activities held at the resort include skiing, snowboarding, ice-skating, cross-country skiing, dog sleigh, and snowmobiling. Summer activities hosted by the resort include hiking, biking, fishing, trail and running.

Keystone was the perfect place to set up a winter resort. The place has an eight months ski-season starting from October and lasting through June. Visitors can ski up to 12 hours a day and night skiing is also available. According to Skiing Magazine, Keystone Resort is the "ultimate all things to all skiers". Its four mountains namely Arapahoe Basin, Keystone Mountain, North Peak, and the Outback offer skiers and backpackers several outdoor activities to enjoy. Keystone's location is responsible for attracting many tourists all year round. The place is nestled tightly in a valley with spectacular views of Dercum Mountain down to the quaint River Run village at the heart of Keystone.
