About Lake Buena Vista
Lake Buena Vista is a city Florida. The city has a total land area of only 12.7 km2 and is bordered by Lake Buena Vista - once called as Black Lake. It was once called as the City of Reedy Creek but was renamed when the city was relocated from its original location and the river does not run through it anymore. Because Lake Buena Vista has a very small population, it is basically a non-operating school district.

Lake Buena Vista is, in every sense, controlled and operated by The Walt Disney Company. In fact, lands that are not state-owned or are roads are owned by subsidiaries of Disney. Also, the only inhabitants of the city are those that work for the Walt Disney World Resort. Also, the city was named after the lake which was, in turn, named as "Buena Vista" by Disney.

Most of the attractions in the area are attributed to Disney World but other points of interest include ESPN Club, Grande Pines Golf Club, Lake Buena Vista Golf Course, Wyndham Bonnet Creek Resort, and Falcons Fire Golf Club.
