Lake Louise - a hamlet in Alberta, Canada - was named after Lake Louise located in the vicinity. This lake (and the province of Alberta) was named after Princess Louis Caroline Alberta, a daughter of Queen Victoria. It is just a small village with a total area of 0.9 km2. The village has a small shopping area, the Samson Mall.
Although the village does not allow much activity due to its small size, visitors can marvel at the view of the lake from this Hiking Capital of Canada. People can also rent bikes, rollerblades, and canoes in the area.
Lake Louise is called the Diamond in the Wilderness of Canada. Visiting Lake Louise Mountain Resort is great for tourists. There is really not much to do in the area as no "nightlife" activities are available even in the village but visitors are in for the best powder skiing in the country and a great view of the famous Canadian Rockies.
