Linthicum Heights is a census designated place of a CDP in the Anne Arundel County in Maryland, USA. As of the 2000 census, it had an estimated population of 7,539. Also known simply as Linthicum, the CDP is traditionally divided into two communities, with each having its own community associations and identities. The two communities found in the area include North Linthicum and Linthicum Heights Linthicum Shipley. Linthicum Heights has a total area of 4.2 sq miles.

The area is currently served by the Baltimore Light Rail at the Linthicum Station, which is located on Camp Meade Road. Public transport services found in Linthicum Heights also include the Baltimore Light Rail and by a local bus service. The Light Rail makes two spots in North Linthicum. These stops are at Nursery Road and at Camp Meade Road. Points of interest in Linthicum Heights include the Friendship Church of the Brethren, the Hutman Artistic Environment and Overlook Elementary School.
