Mont-tremblant is a vacation destination in the Province of Quebec, Canada long known for being a resort village. It located only about 130 kilometers from Montreal. Once a municipality, it gained official city status in 2000. Its name means "the trembling mountain" in French. It is famous as a tourist attraction because of its topography which makes it ideal for ski resorts such as the one it is famous for, Mont-tremblant Ski Resort.
