About Nadi
Nadi is located on the western side of the main island of Viti Levu and considered as the third largest conurbation in Fiji. Along with a largest transient population of foreign tourists, Nadi is multiracial with many inhabitants Indian of Fijian. Tourism is their mainstay of the local economy aside from sugar cane production. It is composed of higher concentration of hotels and motels. It is a hub of commerce and tourism and is popular among adventurous travelers.

In religion, it is a center for Hinduism and Islam. The city has a large Indo-Fijian population at the most current census in 2007. Nadi River and Viseisei village were located along downtown area on the west side. The beautiful temple Sri Siva Subramaniya is located on the east. It is known as the largest temple in the southern hemisphere and is a site of pilgrims.

Nine kilometers away from the city is where the Nadi International Airport located. It is one of the largest airports in Fiji and served by the international airline of Fiji known as 'Air Pacific'.
