Norfolk is a city in Virginia, USA; it belongs to the Commonwealth of Virginia and is Virginia's second largest incorporated city. The city is bordered by the Elizabeth River, the Chesapeake Bay, Chesapeake, and the Virginia Beach.

Norfolk is among the oldest cities of the "Seven Cities of the Hampton Road", that it has a very rich history and is the center for finances, culture, and history in the region. The city is bordered by several kilometers of baywater and river. Because of these large bodies of water, a lot of interstate road, bridge, and bridge-tunnel complexes have been built around the area.

Norfolk has an advanced economy similar to the region around the Hampton Roads. It is the cultural center of the region and is home to several museums and major performing arts companies. The city also built the first entertainment and sports complex in the region, Chrysler Hall and Norfolk Scope indoor arena. Tourist attractions include the Norfolk Botanical Garden and the Virginia Zoological Park.
