North Bergen is an urban community in Hudson County, New Jersey. The town is considered an Urban Enterprise Zone, a state established label that was implemented after a series of programs that was developed to assist enterprises in communities in New Jersey.

One of the points of interests in the town is the Hoboken Cemetery which is located at 5500 Tonnelle Avenue. It is situated just adjacent to the Flower Hill Cemetery. The recreational and park system of North Bergen is one of the finest in Hudson County. It consists of 18 recreational facilities that are scattered on 280 acres of land.

A major landmark of the area is the James J. Braddock Park, named after the 1935 to 1937 heavyweight box champion who is one of several noteworthy residents of North Bergen. The park includes recreational facilities such as a track, tennis courts and a beautiful lake that is commonly used for fishing. There is also a community pool whose impressive complex was recently awarded by the New Jersey Recreation and Park Association for its Excellence in Design.
