North Conway is located in eastern Carroll County of New Hampshire in United States. In 2000 census, its population is only 2,069. It is the largest village in the town of Conway.
North Conway and its nearby towns offer some of the best hiking experience in the White Mountain National Forest. It is also the home of the Cathedral Ledge, Echo Lake State Park, and Mount Cranmore. The common hobbies and activities in the village are fishing, hhiking, swimming, biking, skiing, sledding and canoeing. The village is also a home to several shopping areas that includes factory outlet and country stores, and antique shops.
Typically, in the late September through early October, tourists arrive to see the vibrant autumn colors on the adjacent mountains and forests of the village. During winter, the North Conway is the main destination of skiers, at night they explore the area resorts, including the Cranmore Mountain as well as the neighboring town resorts such as the Attitash, Black Mountain and Wildcat Mountain.
