North Myrtle Beach is a city in South Carolina, USA. It is one of the tourist towns located along the Grand Strand. The city has four major neighborhoods namely Ocean Drive Beach, Crescent Beach, Cherry Grove, and Windy Hill Beach. The city is run by a mayor and a city council who are all elected by the citizens.

Transportation around North Myrtle Beach includes buses, cars, and airplanes that are serviced by the city's only airport. Majority of the residents in the city are Whites and the rest of the races are also represented but in a small handful. Tourists also visit the city for its colorful festivals, including the Mayfest on Main. Other activities include golfing and going to the beach.

Aside from being a tourist attraction in itself, the city has also produced notable citizens, one of which is Vanna White, the hostess for the Wheel of Fortune game show.
