North Sound, Virgin Gorda is part of the British Virgin Islands or BVI, a British overseas territory, located in the Caribbean to the east of Puerto Rico and is truly a nature and marine haven.
North Sound is bordered by several islands including, Mosquito, Prickly Pear, Saba Rock, Eustatia, Necker Island and Virgin Gorda which is the third-largest and in terms of population of the whole British Virgin Islands it ranked second.
In North Sound, areas are aplenty for docking and anchoring. Gustatory cravings are satisfied by a number of resorts and restaurants in this area like BEYC, Bucks Market in Gun Creek or at Leverick Bay.
A place called the Colquhoun Reef on the north side of Mosquito Island is frequented by sailors, this is also located in the North Sound. Other islands worth visiting are the Anguilla Point which can be seen in the middle foreground and entering this area safely is to pass between Mosquito and Prickly Pear islands. There are also the Eustatia and Necker Island which are on the outer limits of the North Sound.
