Ocean City is located in Maryland, USA. It is an Atlantic Ocean Resort Town also known to be the White Marlin Capital of the World; however, it was known as the Ladies' Resort to the Ocean before 1870. It was once named as Fenwick Island after its owner, Thomas Fenwick, an Englishman.

Tourism in Ocean City started with a beach-front cottage built by Isaac Coffin. Tourists started to visit the city to relax. Later, when businessmen formed a corporation to develop the land, loads of tourists came to visit and enjoy the scenery, the waters, and the attractions that were created.

Attractions in Ocean City include the Ripley's Believe it or Not! Museum, The Firefighter Memorial, The Boardwalk, and the Ocean City Convention Center. Various activities can be enjoyed by visitors: water sports and sightseeing adventures are among these. Tourism is a large contributor to the development of the city - so much that the city is also called the East Coast's Number One Family Resort.
