Orient Bay is a beach located in the island of St. Martin, in the archipelago of Guadeloupe. Situated in the wonderful paradise called the Caribbean, Orient Bay is known as a nudist beach, and is frequented by liberal, adventurous tourists from all over the globe. As such, its economy largely depends on tourism.
The Bay's Orient Beach is famous as the "French Riviera of the Caribbean," and is understandably the flagship beach of St. Martin Island. Not for the faint of heart and the staunchest of morals, several bars and restaurants offer tourists the privilege to party all the time, where freedom is a word taken to its most extreme meaning.
A fusion of French and Dutch cultures, the beaches in St. Martin Island are divided into two categories, the Dutch side and the French side. Orient bay, being liberal, of course belongs to the French side. End to end, Orient bay offers tourists an exciting way to experience sand, sea and sky with its excellent cuisine and breathtaking view. As clothing is optional in Orient Bay, the freedom to let loose is a luxury and a privilege that most visitors find liberating and fun.
