Overland Park is a city located in the state of Kansas in America. It is home to the second largest population in the state, with Caucasians comprising 90% in a population that numbers around 150,000 heads. Overland Park has been consistently named by national media as among the top 10 best American cities to live in the United States. The city was founded in 1905 by William B. Strang, Jr.

On top of this, Overland Park is home to The Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead, a wonderland for children all over the world as its 12-acre expanse hosts more than two hundred (200) animals to pet on or to stare at; energy-pumping hay rides; a tranquil fishing pond; and a quaint and ancient school house that dates back as far as the 1900s. Aside form the farmstead, families may visit the Overland Park Arboretum and Botanical Gardens, as well as go shopping at the Oak Park Mall.

The city is the setting for the comedy series entitled, "The United States of Tara," which stars premiere comedienne Toni Collette.
