About Parsippany
Parsippany is short for Parsippany-Troy Hills Township. This township is located in Morris County, New Jersey, United States. Parsippany is considered a little place at only 25 square miles but it boasts of a congenial slice of New Jersey heritage. As of the year 2000, the population at Parsippany totaled to 50,649 and is the most populous municipality in Morris County.

Parsippany has received the great honor of being ranked number 17th in the 2006 Best Places to Live in the United States by Money Magazine. In 2008, the ranking moved up to number 13. The town is full of history and some of homes located in the township even date back as far as the 18th century and still remains standing. In summer, the town is ablaze with hot concert series and theatrical performances held at the Parsippany Playhouse.

Families can find a lot of education institutions in Parsippany that include public school districts, private schools and religious schools. The Catholic schools in the area all operate under the auspices of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Paterson. Sports are also highly valued in Parsippany with the township hosting teams in both the Super Y-League and the Super-20 League. Parsippany has even graced televisions and movies because it has been featured in many TV and film releases such as Seinfeld, Karate Kid, Beer League and The Ex.
