Saint Croix is an island in the Caribbean Sea and the largest islands of the United States Virgin Islands. There are two towns to visit in Saint Croix - the Christiansted and Frederiksted. Christiansted has been declared a National Historic Site due to the quality of its architecture and its historic interest.
Christiansted is the home of many quaint shops that contains china wares, French perfumes, batik clothing, jewelries and crystals. Buck Island, a smaller nearby island is also one of the finest dive spots in the world and is a few hours away from Christiansted.
Frederiksted also has its own share of shopping destinations. It also houses the Whim Greathouse which is a plantation that has been restored to its original beauty and charm as it was in the 1700s. The town also has a tropical Rain Forest and its fair share of fine hotels.
When there is a full moon in the sky at the end of every month, the locals celebrate what they call a full moon party. Every mid-February, the island also holds the annual Agricultural and Food fair.
