Saint Petersburg, fondly called "Saint Pete", is a city in Florida, USA; it belongs under the Pinellas County. It is known as "Florida's Sunshine City" and has a motto of "Always in season". It is a city with a political impact in the US Presidential politics and is also known as a favorite vacation destination among North Americans and Europeans. It is also a very popular retirement destination among Americans from colder states.

With its 360 days of sunshine, it is no wonder that in recent years a lot of youth have converged in Saint Petersburg to enjoy its sights and the weather. It is also home to several universities so that the city has changed from a retirement destination to a more boisterous youth generation.

Popular tourist attractions in Saint Petersburg include the Great Expectation (a children's museum), Boyd Hill Nature Park, Baywalk, the Sunken Gardens, and the Saint Petersburg pier where various shops, restaurants, and attractions can be found. The pier is also home to the HMS Bounty replica which is being used in the filming of the Pirates of the Caribbean.
