Schaumburg is a village in Cook County, in Illinois, a state in the United States of America. It is home of the Motorola headquarters and contains the Woodfield Mall which is one of the largest shopping malls in the country in terms of shopping area. The city is also the home of a Northern league baseball team, Schaumburg Flyers.

Schaumburg houses the Sheffield Park and the Schaumburg Township District Library, the second largest library in the state of Illinois. The Schaumburg Township District Library serves the sections of Hoffman Estates, Schaumburg, Roselle, Elk Grove Village and Hanover Park. The annual circulation of the materials in the library could total to up to two million items while an approximate of one million people visit the library annually.
