Silver Spring is an urbanized and unincorporated area located at Montgomery County, Maryland. It is the third heavily populated area in Maryland next to Baltimore and Columbia.

Attractions in Silver Spring include Rock Creek Park that offers picnic grounds and hiking and bicycling trails, so is with the Sligo Creek And Sligo Creek Park with tennis court and playground, Acorn Park which is the site of the silver spring which the place is named after, the Jesup Blair Park with its soccer field, tennis and basketball court and picnic area, the Northwest Park Golf Course with an eighteen hole course which dates back to early 1960s, and the National Capital Trolley with a collection of 1950s street cars.

Silver Spring has also great restaurants, entertainment facilities, and shopping venues. During warm seasons, people tend to go to outdoor concerts and do patio dining. Silver Spring is a small city with a laid back atmosphere so relaxing is very ideal here.
