St. Peter is one of eleven parishes found in the Caribbean country of Barbados. As the name implies, the parish was named after the patron saint, Saint Peter. It is situated in the northern part of Barbados, and is known as one of two parishes that reach both east and west coasts of the island.
The known "Platinum Coast" of Barbados treads fully on Saint Peter, starting from the Saint James parish crossing Saint Peter, moving down south. As a result, Saint Peter has become a hot spot for tourists. It should not be such a surprise as St. Peter is surrounded by pristine white-sandy beaches, one of which is the world renowned Mullins Bay. Not only that, but the lush greenery, terraces, and rolling hills are factors that also invite people into the parish. Other tourist sites in the Parish of St. Peter include the marina called "Port St. Charles" and lavish resorts including Mount Brevitor, Black Bess, Suga Suga, and Schooner Bay.
