Studio City is a district in the city of Los Angeles, California. Its name came from the Mack Sennett Studios that the director moved to the area between Ventura Boulevard and Colfax Avenue. The studio has since changed its name four times before settling for the current "CBS Radford Studios" one.
Studio City is accessible through the many avenues and boulevards that run its course. With the surge of development, homes and small structures have been demolished to give way to high-rise buildings, large condominiums, and more modern infrastructures. Local facilities and historic places are in danger of being replaced by modern facilities but efforts of the owners and residents have slowed down the replacements by citing the historic values of these landmarks which have to be preserved.
Attractions in Studio City include the Little Brown Church in the Valley, Coldwater Canyon Park, Wilacre Park, Laurel Canyon Park, Woodbridge Park, and the exterior of some prominent houses: Brady Bunch House, Gidget House, and Wilkerson's House.
