Sun Peaks is an international resort found at Tod Mountain north of Kamloops on the Thompson Plateau in the BC Interior. It is famous its sunny climate (around 2000 sunshine hour/year) as well as clear skies, and meters of snow located on three mountains making this place a ski-in/ski-out haven.

There are also various boutiques, restaurants, cafés, and superb four-star hotels in this village.Tod Mountain is the ideal place for winter activities like skiing, snowboarding, Telemark, dog sledding, ice skating, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, and sleigh rides. For hiking there are around 80 in this mountain.

A world famous place of destination is the Sun Peaks Resort is located 20 miles (32 km) east of Yellowhead Highway 5 on Heffley Creek Road, and can be accessed through Vancouver, Seattle and Banff by the Trans-Canada Highway 1.

Olympic gold medalist Nancy Greene Raine is the spokesperson as well as the ski director of this four-season resort.
