Tsim Sha Tsui or TST is situated in the south of Kowloon Peninsula, Hong Kong. Within it are streets full of stores, shopping malls, heavy traffic and a crowd of tourists and locals.
Park Lane Shopper's Boulevard is popular for the fashionable clothes being sold and the Granville Road and Harbor City for the cosmetics stores. Another is the Avenue of the Stars that was made to present Hong Kong's movie industry, famous movie stars and behind-the-scenes people. It is modeled after The Hollywood Avenue of the Stars in USA. It extends from the Hong Kong Museum of Art to the New World Center.
Aside from shopping, one can also have cultural experience in TST. Many cultural centers and museums are located in the area. Plenty cheap hotel accommodation is also available especially in the areas of Chungking Mansions, but a view of Hong Kong on Victoria Harbor is costly. The Peninsula Hotel is also famous for Sunday high tea.
