Wailea (Maui) is a CDP or Census-Designated Place in Hawaii, USA. It has a land area of 58.6 km2 and water area of 10.8 km2. It only has around 6,000 inhabitants but this number greatly increases in peak tourist seasons.

Wailea (Maui) is home to several renowned resorts including the Wailea Resort which was developed to provide new buildings but still preserve the ecology and environment of the island. With this, utilities are placed underground and the surrounding roads landscaped to match the rest of the island. Other resorts in the area include the Maui Prince, Fairmont Kea Lani Maui, Wailea Beach Marriott, Grand Wailea Resort and Spa, Wailea Beach Villas, and Four Seasons Maui. There are also less expensive hotels and resorts in the area.

Many of the resorts in Wailea (Maui) have their own boutiques and shops that offer label clothing and knick knacks. The resorts and restaurants in the area often offer superb cuisine. Swimming, snorkeling, diving, and other water activities are very popular in the area.
