Wenatchee is a city situated in the county seat of Washington, United State's Chelan County. Wenatchee is nestled somewhere on Columbia River's western side, and right across East Wenatchee. While the so-called "Wenatchee-East Wenatchee" area ranges over all Chelan and Douglas counties, the "Wenatchee area" remains to be, the parcel of land situated between Rock Island Dam and Rocky Reach.
Wenatchee has numerous orchards which provide apples which the rest of the world has the pleasure to enjoy. As such, it has been dubbed as the "Apple Capital of the World." Not only that, but it has also achieved the name "Buckle of the Power Belt of the Great Northwest."
Interestingly, archaeological findings close to East Wenatchee have resulted in the uncovering of Clovis bone and stone tools which dates back for over 11,000 years. This indicates that the people that migrated during the last Ice Age had spent considerable time in the Wenatchee Area.
